Eric, co-owner of Thomas Philips Woodworking, has been creating impeccably crafted cabinetry and millwork for nearly 20 years, following a passion that first developed while growing up in Victoria. His innate talent and dedication to flawless results led to earning his Red Seal Ticket at BCIT in joinery, as well as 13 Gold CARE Awards with Thomas Philips Woodworking. But it is his attention to detail that truly sets him, and the company he helped found, apart. From the design process and construction, to the quality of product and customer service, Eric believes every single aspect of a job—no matter how small—is vitally important.

Tristan Bradley has been with Thomas Philips Woodworking since 2012, and is proud to be a part of a team that adheres to the highest standards of quality. Growing up in Seymour Arm, a small interior BC town on Shuswap Lake, Tristan became interested in woodworking while working with his father and uncle, building and finishing cabins on the lake, as well as boats and hovercrafts. He loves working with his hands, and uses his experience as a Red Seal Journeyman Joiner to craft, problem solve, and create work to be proud of.
A creative person by nature, Sumner developed a love of art and design from a very early age, and her first drafting class in high school sparked a passion to pursue design as a career. She shifted to Interior Design to better showcase both her creative and technical skills, and received her Bachelor’s in 2016 from VIU. Bilingual in French and English, Sumner maintains her top priority is listening to a client’s vision while offering professional ideas and advice in order to support their dream with an accurate technical foundation.
